After 23 years in the business, Rebecca says “I still love the challenge of each day in a florist”.
Growing up in Cornwall, Rebecca studied Art, Photography and Ceramics.
After her studies, Rebecca worked at the local florist, where she discovered a love of flowers. Rebecca then attended Jane Adele’s Floristry school, where she achieved a certificate in Floristry.
Venturing to London, she worked in a designer florist. Rebecca completed corporate work across London and had contracts with Billy Connelly, The Princes Trust, and other various other celebrities.
Travelling to Australia in 2000, Rebecca worked in the Cronulla Florist, which holds contracts with the St George Leagues Club and the Cronulla Sharks.
Rebecca took a break from floristry to be a full time mum to her beautiful daughters. Her passion soon led back her back, and she is now a senior florist at Wisteria Blue (aka Little Britain!) with a team that she loves!
Louise’s creative journey began in London where she studied a degree in Set Design for Film and Theatre. Realising her true passion for flowers, Louise returned to study, gaining a certificate in Floral Design.
Louise worked in florists across London and in 2000 embarked on her own business venture selling flowers outside a main line tube station.
She eventually outgrew her flower stall, and opened her first floristry ‘Heaven on Earth,’ which ran successfully for six years.
Heaven on Earth designed and created flowers for many large London venues including the Dorchester Hotel and Park Lane Hilton. Heaven on Earth also created floral art for the TV shows Midsomer Murders and Come Dine with Me.
Louise and her family moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2004, where she works for Wisteria Blue Kawana florist, lives in a hippy caravan, and is married to Johnny Depp…
